This year the Team will be participating in two competitions, one in state and one out-of-state. This year we were very fortunate and have qualified for the Championship Event taking place in Atlanta, Georgia.

Important Dates

Kick-off January 5, 2008:

One of the most important dates for Team 207 is the day of the Kick-off. On this day all robotics teams gather and await the announcement of the new competition for the year. That day also marks the beginning of the build season, and is the day when teams receive a crate full of parts and books of rules. From that point on, every team is given six weeks to design and build a functioning robot.
On January 5th all of us found out what the Overdrive competition was about, were ready to start brainstorming, and anxious to start building.

Robot Deadline: February 19, 2008:

This date marks the end of the frantic robot build season. Ideally, by this day the robot needs to be complete, tested, and shipped.

Animation Deadline: February 15, 2008:

After long hours of hard work, brainstorming, modeling, and editing, the animation team has to have completed their 30-second video clip.

Travel

In order for students to be eligible to travel to the competition locations, they need to show strong dedication and participation. Apart from the 2.0 GPA requirement, students need be deeply involved and carry out hard work.
